On the morning of July 29, leaders including Dong Xuezhong, Vice Chairman of the Tangshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); Wang Quan, Standing Committee Member of the Tangshan Municipal CPPCC and Director of the Municipal CPPCC Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee; and Zhang Hai, Standing Committee Member of the Tangshan Municipal CPPCC and Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, visited our company to conduct research and inspection focusing on the development of smart agriculture. Wang Yuefei, Chairman of the Yutian County CPPCC; Dong Yinling, Vice Magistrate of Yutian County; Han Tianye, Vice Chairman of the Yutian County CPPCC; An Shengxin, Assistant to the General Manager of Hebei Runnong Water-saving Technology Co., Ltd.; and Fu Dongdong, Director of the General Management Department, accompanied the group throughout the visit.

Upon arriving at the company’s exhibition hall, An Shengxin from Runnong Water-saving gave a detailed introduction to each functional module of the smart agricultural IoT system independently developed by the company to the research group leaders, and conducted an on-site demonstration. The leaders of the research group gave full recognition to the smart agricultural IoT system developed by Runnong Water-saving in terms of water and fertilizer conservation, labor reduction, and income increase.

After the demonstration, both parties held in-depth discussions on the future development direction, models, and problems encountered in the promotion process of smart agriculture in our city. The leaders of the research group put forward valuable suggestions for the development of our company’s smart agriculture, and stated that our city will strive to leverage regional advantages, actively promote the application and popularization of smart agriculture locally, and provide support for invigorating agriculture through science and technology.
